OBSESSED WITH HUNTING LIKE YOU
WHAT DO WE WANT TO PROMOTE?
D2D was born with the idea of promoting still stalk hunting, through the distribution of quality equipment for the hunter.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our mission is to effectively make available to European hunters those products and technologies that will allow them to go out into the wild and carry out their hunts in the safest and most efficient possible way. We strive to reach as many people as possible, and we are proud to be able to share and promote our values and way of understanding hunting.
OUR HISTORY
Our history dates back to the end of 2022, when our founders Osvaldo Balaguer and José Antonio Arriaga discussed about the problem that, as consumers, hunters in Europe encounter due to the lack of information, variety and supply problems. A small market compared to the great American economic powerhouse makes archery and gun shops struggle to offer their customers a suitable range of products and stock levels adequate to demand.
The result is a scarcity that limits choice and forces long waiting times. And, the way these things often happen, around a campfire, amid shared stories of past hunts, they made the decision. A decision that transcends business and that has a lot to do with the desire to spread and share the passion for hunting and nature, with the will to promote modern and ethical still stalk hunting by putting the best equipment within everyone´s reach.
Thus, our company “Dawn to Dusk” (D2D) was born, with a name that evokes those magical moments at sunrise and sunset and with the support and trust of our partners who, from the beginning shared our vision and believed in our project.
From our headquarters in Madrid and through an extensive network of dedicated retailers, we plan on bringing all over Europe, a growing range of carefully selected products that will be permanently available for any hunter.

JOSÉ ANTONIO ARRIAGA
MANAGING PARTNER
Great entrepreneur and businessman, lover of sailing, blood tracking dogs and hunting
Having completed a Diploma in Marketing and Advertising at an early age, I immersed myself completely in the business world. Since then, almost 30 years have passed in which I have managed various companies related to Construction, Leisure and, more recently, the world of Fuel. I have always combined my business with my love and passion for nature in its different fields. However, it was later when I started hunting, since I was 37 years old when I shot my first animal. Since then, I have dedicated a great part of my time to this beautiful hobby.
My beginnings in hunting were with shotgun and rifle, mainly focused on small game and hunting in the mountains. Nowadays, I dedicate myself mainly to stalking, with a preference for the high mountains and waiting. For the last 3 years, I have been hunting almost exclusively with bow, as I find this modality much more rewarding.
I am a member of several archery clubs in different provinces of Spain and, in addition, I intensively practice Bloodhound Tracking (being an accredited member of AEPES), a modality that together with the bow occupies 90% of my time dedicated to hunting.
I have traveled and continue to do so in several continents, focusing mainly on stalking, although my main hunting takes place in the diverse and varied provinces of Spain.
After completing my studies with a Diploma in Marketing and Advertising at a young age, I fully immersed myself in the business world. Since then, almost 30 years have passed during which I have run various companies related to Construction, Leisure and, more recently, the world of Fuel. I have always combined my businesses with my love for nature in its different fields. However, it was only later that I started hunting, as I was 37 years old when I harvested my first animal. Ever since that day, I have dedicated a large part of my time to this beautiful passion. On those early days I focused on small game hunting with my shotgun and rifle driven hunts. Nowadays, I mainly concentrate on active stalking, with a preference for the high mountains, and still hunting over plots. For the last 3 years, I have been almost exclusively bowhunting, as I find this modality much more rewarding. I am a member of several archery clubs throughout Spain and, in addition, I am a certified tracker for the Spanish Association of Blood Tracking Dos and intensively practice tracking with my do. Tracking other people’s wounded animals and bowhunting take 90% of my hunting time. Although I hunt primarily the different and diverse Spanish provinces, I love traveling and have chased different species across several continents. Awareness of the lack of supply, shortage of stocks, disregard to certain products and limited variety available to the bow and the still hunter, together with my innate penchant for entrepreneurship, have made me decide that I could do my bit. Thus, combining my business experience with my passion for hunting and the outdoors, I seek to fill what I consider to be an existing gap in this sector.
OSVALDO BALAGUER
MANAGING PARTNER
An economist by profession and an archer by vocation, I have always
lived a life closely linked to hunting, fishing and nature.
I was a fisherman before I was a hunter and in my early years I worked in the commercial department of the most well-known fly fishing shop in Spain. I also participated as a columnist and co-editor of a fly fishing magazine and spent time as a manager and fishing guide for a lodge in Yucatan. I have been actively hunting with a bow for more than twenty years now. I have been or am a member, director and even founder of several archery clubs in Madrid. I am also a Certified Judge for 3D Archery Competitions. I have worked with international outfitters and ran my own safari company for a few years. I have written articles for various print and digital magazines and collaborated with different hunting TV Shows.
I have also been linked to the bow hunting industry, collaborating with various brands and different archery shops as a Prostaff, Field Tester or Advisor. The underwater world also fascinates me and with my camera I have been lucky enough to dive and photograph the seabed and species of several countries across different continents. Traveling is my other passion. My work has taken me to spend half my life in Africa, America and Asia and, whether with the rod, with the bow or with my underwater camera, I have visited many countries and lived unique experiences whenever I have had the opportunity.
BORJA BALAGUER
PRODUCT & MARKETING
The countryside, the sea, the rivers, the mountains and their forests,
will always be somehow part of me. I am a young student with a passion
for the Outdoors.
My short but busy career has led me to travel to several continents, visiting around a dozen countries. This has allowed me to discover the most diverse and interesting landscapes and scenarios nature has to offer. Among them, my several hunting safaris to Africa and my stay on a ranch in Texas (USA), made a special impact and greatly enriched my knowledge of hunting and the outdoors. Those experiences remind me every day and do not let me forget that, despite being in a big city studying the world of finance, my true happiness is out there, amid the movement of the trees and the shimmer of the moon. I consider myself mainly a bowhunter, as I have been shooting arrows and hunting with a bow for over fifteen years. I owe this entirely to my father, who put a bow in my hands virtually on the day I was born. Not to mention that he is the person who taught me everything I know about the outdoors and nature.
My passion for nature has also led me to the water, because apart being a hunter, I am also a proud fisherman both in fresh water
(Fly Fishing) and in salt water (Spearfishing). Despite all the aforementioned, I am fully aware that my adventure has just begun, and that there are still many things left for me to learn, places to visit, and hunts to experience. However, I truly believe that my youth will be key to bringing to this project a modern vision and the motivation and energy necessary to achieve success.
